I was using the old desktop version and my computer died. I did have everything backed up and was able to reinstall Landlord Max on another computer but I have to import all the files associated with it ie all my tenant information, etc. The data is gone. when I click on import/export it says I have a trial version and to enter my license number. Well we bought this so long ago that I don’t have that original email anymore with the license and information. Is there any way to import my information into the program now that it’s re-installed? I have all the files backed up . Thank you!! |

Hi Loretta, We're sorry to hear that your computer died. In terms of the Desktop Edition please note that is has been discontinued for some time and is no longer officially supported. In addition to this it's our understanding that it no longer runs on the current Mac OS X and only on some Windows 10/11 computers. Meaning we would very strongly recommend upgrading to the Cloud Edition because it's too late. That being said if you absolutely wish to use the old Desktop Edition we can provide you with the license code you had purchased however you will need to contact our support team at: support@landlordmax.com where we'll be able to assist you. As this is a public forum we cannot share any license codes and such here, this has to be done through a private inquiry to the support team.
