Current leases

Is there any way to get a report of just current leases? When I use the date range filter I end up with a lot of leases that are within the date range but have expired.

Hi Aaron,

Can you please expand on what report exactly you're running as different reports have different criteria (for example expiring leases, rent roll and so on).

That being said if you mean the rent roll reports then please note that the software must use the Lease Begin Date and Lease End Date because if you run the report for say next month then you want to include rents that are from Leases starting next month (where the tenant is not yet current). With that in mind if you are seeing rents that are from tenants that have moved out then the first thing to do is confirm that you have adjusted the Lease End Date to reflect when the Lease was actually terminated (for example if they were evicted then the Lease was most likely terminated early). Once you adjust the Lease End Dates then the rents for Tenants that have moved out will no longer appear in reports such as the rent roll reports and so on.
