What are tooltips? I see under Preferences -> General Preferences -> User Interface Preferences A "Show Tooltips" check box. I can't find anything in the documentation or release notes that describes what this is. |

Hi Brett, The reason you don't see this is that it's specific to a very small subset of people and is expected to be removed shortly. It's there due to a very specific issue that affected less than 1% of our customers where the popup tooltip (the little popup on the tables) would not display correctly for a specific version of the Mac OS. That version of the Mac OS is no longer supported but we've kept it there for the time being just to give those people additional time to upgrade their Mac OS. When that specific update was released we directly informed the people affected on how to resolve the issue by changing this preference rather than put it in the release notes and/or user manual, since it only affected a very small number of people, and that as time went on this percentage would decrease very quickly.
