Morning. I have an issue regarding a pro rated rent and lease cancellation. What I have is a tenant moving to a another unit within a building, with a new rent price and he moved the 10th. The new lease pro rated the accounting entry fine, but his previous lease, ending on the 9th then, did not create a cancellation entry to his name. Is there a way to the determine the pro rated amount for the cancelled lease automatically? |

Hi Pieter, That's correct, the software does not yet offer a method to pro-rate a cancelled lease, this has to be done manually. That being said we are always looking to improve the software and I have added your request to our Idea Initiative Program which is where all user submitted requests are recorded and continually revised.
