How do you remove a unit from a building if it was added by mistake?

Hi Joe,

To delete a unit you just have to select it from the list of units in the Units view.

That being said please note that LandlordMax has a safety mechanism in it where it will not allow you to delete data that is currently associated with other data because if you did so it would put your database in an unstable state. So for example, if your unit is associated with at least one accounting entry, then you cannot delete that unit until you delete the associated accounting entry first (otherwise does the software automatically remove the unit from the accounting entry?). Once you've done this, you'll be able to delete the unit.

Please note that this also includes any accounting entries, scheduled entries, suggested entries workorders, invoices, receipts, etc.

To facilitate this effort, we generally recommend you first go through the tabbed panels within the unit you're trying to delete. From here you can delete the accounting entries, invoices, etc. Afterwards all you need to do is delete the scheduled and suggested entries.
