Update Question

Jeff | email Feb 21 2015, 11:15 AM
I just installed the updated version. I didn't realize that it was a new installation. I just thought that it updated existing files. Anyway, I installed the update to a new directory. What do I do with the old LLMax directory? Can I just delete it? Could that cause any registry problems?

Programs and Features now shows two installations of LLMax (11.05c and 11.05d). Is it best to just uninstall the older version?

Thanks.

Hi Jeff,

How did you install the new version? By default the software will install the new version overtop of your existing one. If you changed the installation directories then yes this will create a new folder for the application as you've explicitely told it do this. In this case then yes you will need to uninstall the previous version.

I have tried to download the update for version 11.05h i have clicked on the click here and then enter nothing is happening. What do I need to do to download the update? I try to keep my LLM updates up to date.

After downloading how do I know if the version has been added to my LLM?

Thank you for your help.\\\

Hi Bonnie,

If the click here button within the software doesn't work then this means that something on your computer has blocked it. If this happens then you need to manually go to the website and download and install the software as shown in Section 2 of the user manual at: http://www.landlordmax.com/support/index.php?pg=kb.book&id=2

As for knowing which version you can always find the version number on the top right of the application, on the splashscreen when it's starting, as well as in the About section of the software.
