I have been moving my database from my home computer to my work computer using a usb thumb drive. I have been considering using dropbox to export/ import. The problem I am having is I can not find the dropbox location from the LLMax database Management page. I know Dropbox resides under favorites, but that does not come up as an option. I can save it to a folder on my c drive then move it to drop box but it is another step. (both ways...) Is there an easier way to do this? or should I move to Google Drive? Thanks windows 7 & 8.1 |

Hi Bill, It's great to hear that you're using LandlordMax. In terms of exporting and importing to the dropbox folder you can find the actual location according to the following Dropbox help page: https://www.dropbox.com/help/321 What you can do is go to the Dropbox folder in Windows Explorer (assuming you're using a Windows based computer) and then select the full address from the address bar to copy and paste into LandlordMax. The favorites is a shortcut for the Windows system and is not an actual file/folder location, so you need to point to the actual location. Stephan, Thanks for the quick support. That works for me. It looks like this : c:\users\bill\dropbox\landlordmax Then I pick the .RAN file to import. Thanks Bill Graham |

Hi Bill, You're more than welcome. And yes that makes sense. The only thing is that the path is dependent on your computer's User account (in your case bill). Everyone will have a different path based on the User Account setup for their computer.
