Backing Up LandlordMax Data

I realize that there is a backup and restore utility, but I have a question. I back up the data directories in my PC every day, including everything in the LLMax directory. I have the feeling, though, that it I have to do a restore that way I'll be out of luck. I couldn't find an individual file that contains the database.

Should I be running a LLMax backup every day and then including that file in the daily workstation backup?

Thanks.

Hi Jeff,

We do recommend using the software's backup functionality as it guarantees a proper backup. You can try to automatically backup the files but if you do so it's very important that the software is NOT running while the backup occurs because the database is comprised of a number of small files and if they aren't copied atomically then there are no guarantees as to the consistency of the backup. Also please note that the database is not store within the Program Files folder, it's stored in the APPDATA as per Windows (I assume you have a Windows based computer based on your use of the term PC).
